
Giants snap four game losing streak with a home win
After losing four straight games, the College of the Sequoias softball team looked determined to get back in the win column.
The Giants scored early, defeating Porterville 7-3 on Tuesday.
Ashley Paradine tossed a complete game, and struck out seven.
A trio of Giants propelled COS to the victory with their bats'.
Adrienne Cachu and Breanne Tabarez each went 3-for-4 at the plate, with one RBI.
Madison Montemayor crossed the plate twice with her 2-for-4 day at the dish.
Next up for the second place Giants is a three game set with Merced. Game one is on Tuesday in Merced, with a doubleheader in Visalia rounding out the week on Thursday.
Thursday is Sophomore Day, fans are encourgaed to show up early for pregame festivities.
