Giants win 6th straight; travel to West Hills-Lemoore next
COS moved another victory closer to a second straight 20-win season following a 25-16, 27-25, 27-25 defeat of Merced on Nov. 6.
The Giants improved to 18-6 overall and 12-1 in the Central Valley Conference heading into their final three regular season matches of the season: 6 p.m. Nov. 8 at West Hills-Lemoore (3-14, 3-10), 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at state No. 3-ranked Fresno City (25-2, 13-0) and 7 p.m. Nov. 15 at home against Reedley (2-14, 1-12).
COS, which has won six straight, is aiming to earn a fifth consecutive Northern California Regional playoffs berth.
