
COS seeks 20th win of season in regular season home finale vs. Reedley
COS can reach the 20-win plateau for the second straight season with a victory Nov. 15 against Reedley.
The Central Valley Conference match between the Giants (19-7, 13-2) and Tigers (2-16, 1-14) is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at Porter Field House.
COS had a seven-match winning streak snapped Nov. 13 during a 25-19, 25-17, 25-15 loss to CVC-leading and state No. 3-ranked Fresno City (27-2, 15-0).
Christa Pilgrim (Mission Oak) led the Giants with nine kills and one block. Hazel Martinez (Mission Oak) had six kills, Teagan Daughtery (Tulare Union) had five kills and Lexi Carmona (Madera) added 17 digs and four aces.
COS will learn if it has made the Northern California Regionals for the fifth straight season when pairings are released on Nov. 21. The Giants went 21-9 last season while winning a NorCal Regional play-in match before losing in the first round.
