TAFT - COS Men's Soccer regular season ended with a late 1-0 defeat to Taft on Tuesday.
Defense was at a premium in the match, with both teams not conceding a goal in the first half.
COS (8-7-4, 2-3-3 CVC) look to have ended the season with a draw, but Taft (12-3-5, 3-1-3 CVC) forward Isaac Campos had other plans. Campos found the back of the net in the 80th minute, to give the Cougars the 1-0 victory.
With the defeat, the Giants are hopeful their power point number will clinch them a spot in the playoffs. As it stands, COS currently sit mid-table with a power point number of 32.25.
