
Men's Basketball have another close game at Cuesta Tournament
SAN LUIS OBISPO - After winning a nail-biter on Friday, COS dropped a close game to Cuesta, 72-70, on Saturday.
The Giants capitalized on Cuesta's 18 turnovers, and scored 43 points in the second half. Austin Armstead led COS with 20 points and three steals. Forward's Bobby Kazar and Taber MacFadden each had 12 points.
However, the Cougars shot 49 percent from the field, and 53 percent from the three point line. Forward Alex Ouandie led Cuesta with 24 points. Guard Noah Saunders had a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Sequoias last game at the Cuesta Rabobank Tournament will be today, against Saddleback at 3 p.m.
