MERCED - After suffering a heartbreaking loss to Columbia on Wednesday, Merced did the same thing to the Giants again on Saturday. COS lost 93-90 in overtime on the road to the Blue Devils
Sequoias (11-13, 5-5 CVC) had four of their starters score in double figures.
Giants' guard Isaiah Johnson had a season-high 29 points in the loss. Austin Armstead chipped in 19, while Bobby Kazar had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Connor Tuttle contributed 10 points in the defeat.
Zac Nuttall was the only COS player to score off the bench, scoring 11 points.
The Giants will look to end their two-game losing streak on the road against Porterville on Wednesday.
