
Men's basketball fall on the road to West Hills-Coalinga
COALINGA - The College of the Sequoias men's basketball team lost 66-54 at West Hills-Coalinga on Wednesday.
COS struggled shooting the ball, going 31.3 percent from the field. The Giants also couldn't find their stroke from behind the arc, shooting just 18.5 percent.
Freshman forward Kentrey Bynum was held in check by the Falcons, scoring 6 points with 9 rebounds.
Guard's Isaiah Johnson and Austin Armstead were the only two Giants that scored in double digits. Johnson had a team-high 15 points, while Armstead pitched in 12.
Sequoias will look to get back on track on Saturday. The Giants will host Reedley at 5 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader with the women's basketball team.
