
Men's Basketball can't complete road comeback
SONORA - In their second Central Valley Conference game, the College of the Sequoias men's basketball team struggled in the first half, and lost 66-59 to Columbia.
COS shot 39.6 percent on the road and only scored 17 points in the first half of play.
Another problem for the Giants was turnovers, as they committed 19. Sophomore forward Kentrey Bynum was responsible for five of those, but he did have 15 points and 8 rebounds.
Freshman Guard Connor Tuttle had a team high 16 points in the loss.
After two straight conference road games, the Giants will now have their home opener on Wednesday. COS will host Merced with tip-off scheduled for 5 p.m.
