
Men's Basketball get back in the win column
VISALIA - The College of the Sequoias men's basketball team gets back even to .500 with the help of Connor Tuttle's team-high 25 points in Saturday's 94-61 victory over Reedley.
COS (10-10, 4-2 CVC) found their three-point shooting against the Tigers, shooting 56-percent from behind the arc. Tuttle knocked down seven of the 18 three's.
The Giants did not face a point deficit the entire game, and at one point they opened up a 34 point lead. The reason, moving the basketball. Sequoias had 22 assists compared to Reedley's 5.
COS guard Austin Armstead had a team-high 8 assists on the night. Isaiah Johnson was the recipient of some, and contributed 20 points.
The Giants outscored Reedley's bench and Sequoias' guard Zac Nuttall was a big part of it. He chipped in 10 points off the bench, going 3-of-5 from behind the arc.
Next up for COS is a road contest against first-place Fresno City on Wednesday. Sequoias is looking to put a blemish on the Rams perfect 6-0 conference record.
