STOCKTON - Women's Basketball defeated Feather River 86-62 in their season-opener on Friday.
"It's always good to get the first one out of the way," head coach Ray Alvarado said. "We have a long way to go, but it's good to have the season start like this."
COS first game in the Delta Tournament went according to plan, as three Giants scored double digit points. Myasia Gray (16), N'Dea Jones (14), and Greissen Leslie (11) helped outscore the Golden Eagles 50-20 in the first half.
The Giants will move on and face the winner of the San Jose - American River game today at 7 p.m.
