VISALIA - The state's fifth-ranked College of the Sequoias women's basketball team extended their win streak to five games by defeating Reedley 78-54 on Saturday.
COS guard Idalis Rubalcava posted an uncommon double-double with a team-high 18 points and 10 steals. Teammate Dojahnae Senegal also posted a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
The combo helped the Giants extend their lead to 24 points in the fourth quarter. COS (18-3, 5-0 CVC) never trailed in Saturday's game.
Sequoias guard Alyssa Gonzales also contributed 11 points in the victory.
The Giants will travel to Fresno to play the Rams on Wednesday. Fresno City and COS are both undefeated in conference, and tied for first place at 5-0. Tipoff for the contest is slated for 7 p.m.
