VISALIA - Every player of the fifth-ranked College of the Sequoias women's basketball team scored once in Wednesday's 94-40 win over Taft.
The Giants scored at minimum 21 points each quarter in the blowout win. COS (20-3, 7-0 CVC) largest lead of the night was 58 points with 1:27 remaining in the fourth quarter.
Sophomore guard Idalis Rubalcava had a game-high 19 points in the victory.
Rubalcava also added 5 steals as the Giants played lockdown defense. Taft (1-16, 0-8 CVC) shot 26-percent from the field and committed 31 turnovers. COS scored 35 points off the mistakes.
COS showed off its depth in their seventh straight win, with their bench combining to score 55 points.
Sequoias will look to extend their winning streak to eight this Saturday, on the road, against Merced. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.
