After defeating American River 82-43 on Saturday, COS found out they will play Palomar in the Elite Eight on Friday at 5 p.m.
The Giants (27-3) were granted the No. 1 seed from the North Regional due to Foothill's 51-45 upset over top-seeded Sierra.
Palomar (27-2) enters the state tournament as the No. 4 from the South Regional after defeating Cypress 104-92.
The semifinals are set for 5 and 7 p.m. with the winners playing for the state championship on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
The state tournament at Las Positas College in Livermore will be broadcasted online by SoCal Sports.
