The College of the Sequoias women's basketball team continues to climb in both the State and Northern California rankings.
COS (11-2) moved up four spots to No. 2 in the NorCal Poll. The Giants check in at No. 5 in the State Poll.
Sequoias will travel south to Lancaster to compete in the Antelope Valley College Holiday Tournament this weekend.
In the first round, COS will play Barstow on Friday at 5 p.m. The Vikings are 1-8 on the season with sophomore center Essence Reece averaging 24.9 points a game.
The Giants have made the finals in every tournament they've competed in this season.
