STOCKTON - Women's Basketball defeated San Joaquin Delta 77-62, to win the Jocelyn Mancebo Classic on Sunday.
"To win any tournament is nice," head coach Ray Alvarado said. "To defeat a perennial power like Delta will help us down the road. The team did a nice job of executing our game plan."
Sequoias won by convincing margins in all three games, and they had multiple players contribute over the weekend.
On Sunday, the Giants were led by the 19 points of Darci Finnigan. Finnigan along with three more Giants scored in double figures. Zharia McCollum scored 14, Alyssa Gonzales scored 12, and N'Dea Jones scored 11.
