TAFT - Blowout wins is something the College of the Sequoias women's basketball team has gotten their fans use to.
Including Saturday's 95-39 win over Taft, the Giants have now won nine games by at least a 20 point margin.
Four COS players scored in double digits, with Sophomore forward Dojahnae Senegal leading the way with 14 points. She also grabbed 12 rebounds to achieve her fourth straight double-double.
Freshman guard Isabella Jimenez also provided a spark off the bench, hitting four three-pointers on the night.
Sequoias took advantage of Taft's 33 turnovers and scored 37 points. With two minutes remaining in the game, COS had its largest lead of the game, at 56 points.
Merced will make the trip down south to Visalia on Wednesday to play the Giants. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m., pending the final of the men's game.
