PASADENA - COS Women's Basketball won their sixth straight game as they beat Pasadena 62-53 in the Pasadena City College President's Roundball Tournament.
The Giants have now won both of the tournament's they competed in.
In the Championship game, Greissen Leslie led COS (6-0) with 18 points. She hit 50 percent of three pointers, going 6-12 from behind the arc.
Dojahnae Senegal had six points and 11 rebounds. Zharia McCollum had four points, six assists, and nine rebounds.
Clutch free throws by Darci Finnegan and Alyssa Gonzales helped COS defeat Long Beach 65-60 in the semi-final game.
Sequoias blew out Pierce 89-32 in their first game of the Tournament. They had three players score in double digit. McCollum had 14, Imari Russell, and Talayia Teagues had 10.
The Giants will host Yuba in the first game of the Central Valley Conference Tournament on Friday. Tip-off will be at 6 p.m.
